Two Single Panels each 12’ long. Trims to 27” wide, and the size of artwork is approximately 18” wide by 53” high.

Little is known of these wood block prints. They have been attributed to J.L Malaine with the first date of issue between 1790 and 1798 and printed in the factory of Geo. Dollfus et Cie or Hartmann et Risler. Several hundred blocks for each design would have been required to get this many shades of color.
