In progress restoration. The original French document was block printed in 1805 by a unknown printer as a set of 20 breadths. In 1924, it was reissued by Huard Et Chasset and was expanded to a 30 breadth set. 30 non repeating breadths, total width of Panoramic is 48 feet, each breadth trims to 19” wide by 12 ft long, highest part of design is 7’-3 3/4,” including brick design which would be eliminated if a chair rail is used. Featured in Old Time Wallpapers by Kate Sanborn, published in 1905, with photos in situ of houses in Salem and Nantucket, MA. She refers to the scenic as French Boulevard Scene. This is also featured as Palais Royal in Nancy McCelland’s 1928 booklet: Wallpapers Old and New.
